Consultation on Land and Housing Rights : Empowerment of Women
Girls Count, in collaboration with Landesa and support from UNFPA, organised a day long consultation on Land and Housing Rights for Women in New Delhi on 28th September, 2016. The consultation was conceptualised with the objective of reviewing and analysing the gaps and challenges in accessing land and housing for women and its linkages with violence and discrimination against women. Representatives from civil society organisations, legal fraternity, UN agencies, activists as well as researchers were present for the same.
