Cherishing the Girl Child: A workshop in Creativity
Sanjh Jagori Chandigarh, in association with Girls Count, organised a workshop aimed at engaging writers, painters, theatre artists, researchers and academicians in deliberations and discussions and materials production on issues pertaining to the women and girl child in the contemporary scenario. The workshop, held on 13th December 2016, brought together a motley group of about 25 creative, thinking men and women, who not only shared their lived experiences and ideas, but also put pen and colours to paper, to create impromptu sketches and pieces of writing.
